To Our Little Tucker,
Your Daddy and I are so in love with you! You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to us. We are amazed that Heavenly Father trusts us enough to send you to us!
Every day I look at you and think of all the little things you do that I just cant get enough of.
I love that you are my little snuggle bunny. You love to be held, but there are times where you are content to be left alone so you can kick you feet and wiggle your arms.
I love your stubbornness. (For now anyway! I am sure it will cause some issues when you are older!) When you are done eating, you pinch your lips together and the jaws of life cant get the bottle back in your mouth. You do the same thing with your binkie. If you are hungry, you will not even let the binkie in your mouth. If you do, you shake your head till we take it out!
I love when you are falling asleep, you start smiling like crazy. It makes me wonder who is here telling you silly jokes!
I love singing to you. You like, "Hush Little Baby" "A Child's Prayer" "I Hope They Call Me on a Mission" and "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home"
I love that right before you fall asleep, you peek you little eyes open to make sure I still have you in my arms.
I love that when you are being picked up, you raise your eyebrows. This is when I call you my "Little Monkey" You are just too darn cute!
I love how much you look like your daddy. I have ALWAYS loved your daddy's nose. You have his same button nose.
I love how much you act like your daddy. You sleep the same way he does and you eat the same way. You will eat half of your food, and then take a break. 10 minutes later you are ready to finish. Daddy does the same thing!
I love how you just stare at Daddy, even when I am the one holding you. I know you are going to follow Daddy around and do everything he does. Daddy's Little Man!
Daddy finds it so funny when you are crying because you make the silliest faces.
We love that you only cry when you need something. We call you our "Happy Baby"
We know that as you grow, this list will only get longer. We look forward to watching your personality develop.

Tough Week
To Our Little Tucker,
What a rough week you have had! On Monday morning you had to go to the doctor to have a circumcision. I was very nervous about taking you and made Daddy take the morning off work so that he could come with us.
Our appointment was at 7:00am and you couldn't eat after 5:00am. So I set my alarm for 4:30am to feed you before the cut off time.
You were a trooper! You did so well. You were not happy that everyone was disturbing your sleep and not letting you eat. But once they brought you back to Daddy and I, we fed you, you were very content.
You were my little snuggle bunny the rest of the day. You slept the day away and hardly ate, but the doctor said that would be normal.
It was on Tuesday that things got tough. You became very fussy and warm. I took your temperature and it was a little high, but not high enough to have to call the Dr.
Wednesday morning I took you back to the Dr. to have them check your wound. It looked great and was healing properly. They said your raised temp could be from the circumcision.
By Wednesday night your temp was 100.2. I was very worried about you because you just kept screaming. Only stopping to eat and sleep. Daddy snuggled you and we called the Dr. The nurse said if your temp got up to 100.5, to go to the ER. Thankfully that didn't happen and the nurse we talked to Thursday morning said that new little babies, like you, usually have temps in the 99 area and not to worry and that your fussiness was from being uncomfortable because of the circumcision.
That made me feel so much better. Mammy came over Thursday to watch you while I took a nap, and when I woke up you were not warm or fussy anymore. You were back to being my happy baby again!
Your daddy keeps saying, "You'll thank us one day" and in all honesty, you wont remember any of this! Thank heavens for that!!!
