Cake and Sugar

I went to the Cake and Sugar show in Glendale today. It was alot smaller than I thought it would be but it was good. There were some beautiful cakes there.

This was my favorite cake. It was very difficult to chose which was my favorite. They had us fill out a card for the peoples choice award and this is the one I chose. Check some of the other cakes at the bottom of my blog.

Sick AGAIN

I stayed home from work on Friday. I started getting sick on Wednesday night. I thought it was just allergies. On Thursday I felt really bad but just chalked it up to allergies. On Thursday night I had a small fever. That's when I knew it WASN'T allergies. I still had a fever when I woke up so I called in sick. Thursday and Friday were early release days. It has been parent teacher conferences. Last time we had conferences I was sick. I guess I can start planning that every conference I will be sick. But the good thing was that on Thursday, when I felt the worst, the kids got out at 10:00.

I am feeling better though I am still coughing and plugged up. I know it gross and you don't want to hear it.

Since I am feeling better and I don't have a fever I am going to go to a cake and sugar convention in Glendale today. I have been planning on going since December. They will have displays and demonstrations. I think it will be very neat. It starts at 10 and is only $3 to get in. I will take my camera and post the pictures later today.
